The widely accepted community rule is that a sticker should be worth at least 10% of the base skin value to be considered a meaningful craft. For example, a $100 skin should have stickers worth at least $10 each. Stickers worth 20–50%+ of the skin create "Great" or "Legendary" crafts that command significant market premiums.

Scraping a sticker costs $0.03 in-game currency per scrape (deducted from your Steam Wallet). Each scrape moves the sticker to the next wear stage: Fresh → Slightly Scraped → Scraped → Well Worn → Heavily Scraped. The last scrape (from Heavily Scraped) removes the sticker entirely.

Yes. Fresh stickers retain 100% of their visual value and craft appeal. As you scrape, the sticker becomes less visible and loses value. A Heavily Scraped sticker (5% retention) adds almost no craft premium to a skin, so it is rarely worth applying expensive stickers if you plan to scrape them.

A sticker craft refers to intentionally applying one or more stickers to a weapon skin to increase its perceived value and desirability. Crafts combining rare stickers (like Katowice 2014 holos) with expensive skins can sell for many times the sum of their parts. The craft premium depends on sticker rarity, skin relevance, and community sentiment.

The most valuable stickers for crafting are Katowice 2014 holos (especially iBUYPOWER and Reason Gaming), followed by other early Major holos from 2014–2015. Gold and Foil stickers from major tournaments also command high premiums. In general: Gold > Foil > Holo > Glitter > Paper for craft value.

Craft value is not an exact science — it is determined by the market. A common estimation is: Base Skin Value × Craft Multiplier + small residual sticker value. The multiplier depends on the sticker-to-skin value ratio and rarity. Stickers representing 50%+ of the skin's value often generate 2x–3x multipliers, while lower ratios produce smaller premiums.
