CS2 Commends: How They Work and Where to Buy Them

Commends are positive ratings players give each other in Counter-Strike 2. There are three kinds: Friendly, Teacher and Leader. Each one adds to a counter on the player's in-game CS2 profile.

During a match, press Tab to open the scoreboard, right-click the player's name or avatar and choose Commend. Tick Friendly, Teacher and/or Leader, then submit. Each account can only hand out a limited number of commends in a given period.

Yes, from real players: teammates and friends can commend you in-game at no cost. This site doesn't give out commends. If any site asks for your Steam password, check that the address bar shows steamcommunity.com or store.steampowered.com before you type it. Fake Steam login pages are a common way accounts get stolen.

Nobody can show that they do. Valve doesn't publish the factors behind Trust Factor and says there is currently no way to check it. The only factors Valve names are phone numbers and your Counter-Strike 2 Rank, and its advice is to keep playing CS2 and other Steam games legitimately.

VAC is designed to detect cheats installed on your computer, and buying commends installs nothing on your PC. But bought commends come from bot accounts, Steam's rules prohibit artificially manipulating Steam content, and Valve has never said bought commends are safe. Nobody can honestly promise zero risk.

You buy a token pack on the CS2Commends store and the token is emailed to you. You redeem it on the CS2Commends website with the Steam profile link or friend code of the account that should get the commends (no Steam login) and choose your Friendly, Teacher and Leader split.

One commend can include Friendly, Teacher and Leader at the same time. So 100 Friendly + 100 Teacher + 100 Leader takes 100 from your token, not 300.

CS2Commends states a rate of up to about 20 commends per 5 minutes. At that rate 100 commends take at least 25 min and 1,000 take at least 4 h 10 min. Delivery can be slower than that.
