SSG 08 | Acid Fade is a Mil-Spec Grade SSG 08 skin from The Safehouse Collection, released Nov 27, 2013. It comes in Factory New, also as Souvenir. In SteamWebAPI's snapshot of Oct 14, 2026, prices ranged from $0.53 (Factory New) to $14.47 (Souvenir Factory New), taking the cheapest marketplace with 3+ listings where there is one.
The SSG08 bolt-action is a low-damage but very cost-effective sniper rifle, making it a smart choice for early-round long-range marksmanship. It has been painted by airbrushing transparent paints that fade together over a chrome base coat.
